As with every supplier, no matter where they are located in the United States, weather each spring season is the factor as to when the Nucs, Hives, and queens can be ready for delivery. Some years it is earlier than normal, some years it is later than normal. With Nucs, we try and start delivery at the start of the order list, around the end of April or the first part of May. Single Hives the first part of May, and Queens around the first part of June. Again, this can vary.
In 2018, because of an excellent nectar flow in our area, some of my Nucs supplied the last week of May, filled three medium boxes for their brood area, and 2 more medium supers by the end of July.
But as all of agriculture, your bees success depend upon the weather and you feeding them during the buildup stage as needed, and managing them properly.
Nucs are supplied in Pro Nuc boxes. A very high quality and incredibly designed Nuc transportation box. Allows great ventilation, and can be used for other uses, such as a swarm catch box, temporary queen mating nuc, dry pollen sub box, etc. Return of this box to me to be recycled is much appreciated.
Deposit Payment can be by personal check, Credit Card ( a 3% fee will be added for associated fees) or PayPal or the CASH App. Final payment can be PayPal, CASH App or Credit Card. If you make final payment by personal check, I will have to have it deposited at least 10 days before final delivery of nucs or single story hives to assure the check has cleared. As noted in the pricing of our products, there will be a discount if you pay in cash. To get the cash discount, both the deposit and final payment has to be paid in cash. Cash is green bills only.
Remember: Bees are not pets. Please be prepared to handle them in the appropriate way. Some mistakes by the beekeeper cannot be compensated for, no matter what the quality of the colony. My queens can be squished as easily as any other. If you are inexperienced and unsure, please consider your choices carefully and feel free to contact me with questions before you purchase.
As always you did great. I got two deep nucs from you this spring. I immediately put them in a full box with drawn frames when I got them home. I pretty quickly added a second deep of drawn comb. Both got a top feeder of sugar water when I got them home and both were filled once when I added the second deep then no more feed. One of those hives now has two supers on it with one full and being capped. One of them decided to build queen cells so I’ve split it a couple ways. I think I let them get a little honey bound . . . might have actually overfed. Either way it’s working good. I caught it while the queen was still there so no problems. I’ll always be back for any needs I have and I’ll recommend you to anyone. Travis H. Henley, MO
We bought a hive from you 2 years ago. They are the best. Kind temperament. We followed your advice on the eight frame medium hives and they are better and easier to work. Thank you. Paula S. Willow Springs, MO
Wanted to say, you did not disappoint! There were a bunch of bees in those nucs. Thanks again.

Just wanted to pop you a note that the bees are doing GREAT and these are WITHOUT A DOUBT the calmest, nicest bees I've ever had. These are going to be perfect for teaching my great grandkids on. Megan M. Niangua, MO
Bees are doing great. That queen is a big ole girl! Very Friendly Bees. Bryan H. Nixa, MO
I got two nucs of bees from you. They are doing great. May get some honey from them this year. Thanks William H. Cabool, Mo
Thank you for the wonderful Nuc. They are going strong: drawing out comb rapidly and I've seen eggs!

I got my nuc from you in late May, and they still produced extra honey by the end of the nectar flow in July. Your bees are hearty and easy to work with, very gentle. How you care for your bees was a big factor in my decision. I'll be back for more.
Gerald M. Republic, MO.
Worked them in a T-shirt, shorts and sandals with a head net. All that movement and change - no stings and barely any bumps. I will agree that you have gentle bees!!
Matt R. St. Genevieve, MO
Got the bees installed. Very good looking nucs. Lots of brood and bees.
Jim R. Osage City, KS
The two nucs from you are doing well. Extremely gentle, I don't even think they noticed me.
Mark B. Eureka Springs, AR
These bees are very nice and gentle. I haven't gotten a single sting yet!
Josh R. Mt. Vernon, IL
I received two 5 frame nucs from you on June 2. Since then, the bees have drawn comb on 5 more medium frames, 10 deep frames, and they are currently about 3/4 the way through drawing out frames in the second 10 frame deep. They are progressing nicely. Thanks (July 5th feed back)
